Atlanta Drupal Developer's Group

The ACUG (Atlanta Clarion Users Group) and the ADDG (Atlanta Drupal Development Group) are community organizations which provide development work sessions for both Drupal and Clarion developers. Our primary focus is solving developer issues. We support the developer in making solutions for themselves, clients or employers.

We sponsor two workshops that are held concurrently. These workshops are held as individual instructional sessions. With members of the group giving personal attention to your issues.

Whether you are wanting learn more about Clarion Windows Development and the Cross compilers available for other platforms OR you are wanting to learn more about Drupal CMS open source web design and development you should plan to attend our sponsored workshops. We as a company are involved in a mash-up of these two technologies. You as an individual or as a representative of a company may have only one of these two technologies in mind. We offer discussions demonstrations and work sessions to troubleshoot your individual issues. We have run our groups in this manner for over 10 years.

Some get what they need from the sessions and they leave to finish their projects, but they always know we will be here to help them through the next "hurdle". It is good for you to know that our groups provide pointed sensible direction and learning to those who show up and request help. We do not discuss a concept and and leave you wondering about the issue on your table.

The Atlanta Clarion User's Group/Atlanta Drupal Developer's Group meets monthly to discuss Clarion and Drupal and to facilitate technical help among members.

This month's meeting has been cancelled due to scheduling issues.

We will have a brief look at Clarion 8, and continue our general discussion of Clarion and Drupal

Due to Chris having Jury duty this week, there will be no April ACUG/ADDG meeting.

The March meeting of ACUG/ADDG will be on March 8th. As usual, we will provide a dinner for those in attendance, starting at 5:00, with the meeting starting at 6:00. Please RSVP via this invittion to let us know if you will be in attendance, so that we may plan the amount of food.

Note that this is not the usual meeting date for the month. The Atlanta Drupal User's Group meeting was moved to the 4th Tuesday of March to avoid conflict with DrupalCon. In order to avoid a conflict with that meeting, we moved to the 2nd Tuesday.

The February meeting of ACUG/ADDG will be on February 22nd. As usual, we will provide a dinner for those in attendance, starting at 5:00, with the meeting starting at 6:00. We will be continuing the discussion of Drupal 7.

Please note that the March meeting has been moved to the 2nd Tuesday of the month, to avoid conflict with the ADUG meeting which was moved to avoid conflicts with DrupalCon.

This meeting we'll be doing an install of the recently released Drupal 7, and discussing what is necessary to do an upgrade of a site from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7.

The October meeting of ACUG/ADDG will be on October 26th. As usual, we will provide a dinner for those in attendance, starting at 5:00, with the meeting starting at 6:00. This is the last meeting of the year.

Plans for this meeting are to formalize the features list for a standardized drupal site. As usual, we will cover any Clarion or Drupal developer's issues brought up as well.
